How do we achieve quality results that ensures a safe & clean environment for your family then during carpet cleaning? By utilizing a structured program and method that has been tried and tested to be the best practice world wide with some old fashioned 'elbow grease' for good measure.
Firstly, a thorough deep vacuuming using a vacuum with an 'agitator' to loosen and extract dry material, which makes up about 79% of contaminate within the carpet. We use the world-renowned 'Kirby' systems to eliminate the possibility of organisms and their excrement's being released back into the air due to their microscopic size.
Secondly, after identifying and determining the makeup of your carpets (wool or synthetic material) an appropriate 'Pre-spray' is used to soften & loosen contaminated material from the carpet fibre. These pre-sprays vary dependant on strength of detergent that is required though all are bio-degradable and non-toxic.
The next step is to ensure the 'Pre-spray' is agitated into the carpet fibres to ensure the dirt or contaminated material is affected by the solution which will aid in the soil extraction process. This also ensures an even spread of the pre-spray across the carpet & fibre surfaces.
Upon sufficient reaction time for the pre-spray to begin working we then primarily use a 'Hot Water Extractor' or what is commonly referred to as 'Steam Cleaning'. Using powerful portable systems we are able to place our machines into places where truck mounted units cannot go. Using minimal pressure to ensure no 'over wetting' of the carpet occurs and strong vacuum pressure we are able to minimize the impact of this type of cleaning, aiding in quick drying times and maximum removal of contaminants.
A second form of cleaning on offer is the use of 'Dry Cleaning' or 'Bonnet Cleaning' techniques which is another viable option and one that should not be ruled out by any means. As with Steam Cleaning a number of processes occur prior to extraction methods, whereby the 'Encapsulation' process uses state of the art emulsifiers with unique crystallizing polymers that binds and surrounds soiled particles which are extracted by 'Bonnet' agitation processes. This method uses a small amount of moisture although it can leave soil contaminants under the base of the pile which may later cause re-soiling, though it is the fastest drying system available.
To ensure that carpets maintain their clean outlook and do not fall prey to 'premature re-soiling' appropriate Deodorizers, Allergy Treatments, Sanitising Treatments, Dust Mite Sprays, Anti-Static Control, Odour Eliminator, Scotchguarding and other treatments may be added to preserve the integrity and appearance of the carpet. With this the carpet is 'groomed' or brushed back into shape which further aids in drying and appearance. De-humidifiers and air movers are used when necessary to further aid in the drying action.
As an additive and highly recommended for older carpets and quality material, is the addition of 3M Scotchguard treatments. Using world renowned Dupont™ Teflon® Advanced a powerful, invisible shield is created around carpet fibre to keep dirt, dust, liquids from lodging within the carpet, allowing you more time to clean up and remove spills and dirt before they are absorbed into the carpet.
To get the best results for all carpet cleaning services it would be very beneficial if rooms are clear of heavy furniture, though where needed, we will move items. Discounts apply to rooms that have been cleared for cleaning.
A similar process to carpet cleaning Bluey's is able to restore tired and discoloured tiles using appropriate cleaning detergents upon determining the best process for tile structure. Again, hot water extraction machines are used where the correct pressure and vacuum is maintained to optimize the cleaning results. Sealing agents and other sanitizing solutions are recommended after cleaning hard floor surfaces to help maximize floor protection.
A number of solutions exist for floor & wall tile cleaning where your Bluey's technician will conduct a thorough inspection and determine with you the best course of action prior to proceeding. This is recommended as most tile surfaces in Australia are man made with varying degrees of surface protection & colouring (ceramic, granite, pocelain etc ) and others are naturally occurring stone products such as slate, marble, sandstone which are very porous requiring special treatment & protection.
